Pros

- the people are amazing and are always helpful if you have any issues whether personal or professional - health insurance and pension - work from home

Cons

- There is a lot of inequality between employees. - The salaries are not competitive and are way below industry standards - There is a lack of growth opportunities in the company, expect to stay at the same level for years without much of a salary increase - There is a lot of micromanagement and bureaucracy: you are told to take initiative and be independent but when it comes down to it you're just treated like a puppet and have to do what is being asked - There are a lot of empty promises made such as workload and stress will get better but it never does - There is no incentive for employees to stay: no Christmas or end of year bonus, no competitive salaries or benefits for employees, no incentive to grow by taking courses etc. If they ask you to take a course or to up-skill it is up to yourself to fund it. They don't organise fun events for employees or encourage team activities -There is no HR so if you have any issue you need to go directly to your manager but that is usually a dead end. Any issues that are raised are listened to but rarely dealt with or if it is escalated to higher management, nothing ever gets resolved it just gets shut down - The company takes on employee feedback via a weekly survey to gage happiness and stress levels but nothing is ever done to improve the results of the surveys - It is a good company to start out in but if you are looking for growth and development you won't find it here. - We are constantly told to 'hang in there' during periods of stress and that things will get better but they never do - Everyone is always stressed because there are always major issues that need handling and require so many people from different teams to help out and extra hours - No such thing as getting paid overtime- it is expected to work late if necessary - They have no issue in disposing of employees without much reason to do so and have treated people very unfairly in the past

Pros

Remote work is possible after some training

Cons

I worked as an invigilator, and unfortunately my experience was quite disappointing. The leadership is very poor and lacks basic ethical standards. Invigilators, who receive very limited training, are frequently blamed for issues caused by the app or by problems that are completely outside their control. The teams responsible for supporting invigilators during shifts also appear to be poorly trained and extremely overloaded, which makes response times very slow. This inevitably affects the customer experience and increases the likelihood of complaints from candidates. The most frustrating part is that when complaints arise — often due to systemic issues — the blame still falls on the invigilators. They are paid minimum wage, receive no benefits, have no guaranteed shifts, and are still expected to deal with criticism from management that often shows a clear lack of understanding of the problems on the ground. I have also witnessed managers speaking negatively about employees in open settings, which raises concerns about professionalism and workplace culture. Another major issue is the current Version 2 of the invigilation application. It is full of bugs and inconsistencies and regularly creates significant stress for both invigilators and candidates. These technical problems have been ongoing for at least six months, with little visible improvement or clear communication about a resolution. Despite this, invigilators are still expected to somehow manage the situation and deliver a seamless experience, even when the issues are clearly caused by the platform itself. It is also important to mention that TestReach does not make sense as a first job or primary source of income. Getting shifts is essentially a competition. Shifts are released in the app at the same time, they are very limited, and you never know if you will manage to click fast enough to secure one. It often feels like whoever has the fastest internet connection and quickest reflexes gets the shifts — and that’s it. The process is extremely random, and you never know how many shifts you will actually be able to get. Another ironic aspect is that, if you prioritise other jobs — which many people have to do simply to survive — TestReach may question you about it and even schedule meetings to ask why you are not picking up more shifts or why you are not treating the company as your main priority. Considering the lack of stability, guaranteed work, or proper support, this expectation feels both unrealistic and somewhat absurd. It would almost be comical if it were not so frustrating for the people involved.

Pros

Very easy as long as you know how to operate a computer. Supervisors were nice in my experience.

Cons

Contract work so when shifts were advertised it was a scramble to get some. Its fine if you need some extra income and you can get shifts. Not sure if its the same model. Was doing it during covid.
