As a therapist, it is very flexible (25 hours treatment per week, the rest is paperwork time or opportunity for over time), teachers are willing to accommodate to kids' needs, therapists have their own office, nice building, nice co-workers, good benefits and continuing ed. reimbursement, allowed to do paperwork at home

Can't count on over-time hours, sometimes ran out of kids to see at the end of the week, salary was not competitive

Executive Director does what she wants and is not governed by a Board of Directors. They don't hold board meetings as a nonprofit should. Approve a $20,000 pay raise for her and then give 10 cent raises to the staff. Even some of the admin are treated badly. The turnover rate is horrible and reflects solely on Sherrie and her minions who do her bidding. She will chew you up and spit you out with no remorse or actual feeling at all. This place will meet its downfall under her leadership. She's run off therapists, supervisors, classroom teachers, service coordinators and more. Some people are untouchable and get away with anything and others can give you their whole heart and be put to the curb like yesterday's trash.
