Pros

- Fun environment if you are into the wizard concept - Inclusive

Cons

- Lack of professionalism from the owner and regional director for US - Deceiving business practices - Goals are never fully stated. There is little to no support for such a unique concept

Pros

I would say the only reason to work here is to be able to have more leniency in what you wear, dress up, etc. It can be cool if you’re a nerd, but that cool is easily replaced by overwhelming stress.

Cons

Pay is low, they pay minimum wage for tipped jobs (about $2.50) despite requiring you to come in hours before you have guests to prep ingredients and make the potion supplies, and expect you to stay hours after doing the same. They have you do prep work… from the tip pool money? Overall lowest paying serving job I’ve seen. Not to mention management is insane. Will lie to you, gaslight you, manipulate you, and then make fun of you when you’re crying. They do sketchy things with your pay. And the pay is a tip pool, so if you’re taking 10 tables at once and running around, someone who is flirting with the manager while barely taking one table gets the same amount as you! They will pound on the door if they catch you using the bathroom. They won’t let you eat during these 8-13 hour shifts and have even thrown away employees food. Will call you belittling names (as well as the customers). There is a reason they can’t keeps employees. Only ones who stay are involved with the managers.
