Pros

Free golf at the discretion of the golf pros and GM's. If they deem that you do not work enough days/hours they won't allow you to golf.

Cons

Communication is non existent. Work/life balance is terrible. You will be forced to work on days that the club is supposed to be closed. You will be forced to work longer hours than your regular scheduled hours, especially during tournaments and events. You will be required to lift more weight than the job requirements state. You are just considered a number and your input will not be valued. You may apply for one job, but they'll try to bait and switch you into a part time or a lesser role so that they don't have to offer you insurance or PTO. HR will lie to you as will the management. They play favorites. Turnover is atrocious due to all the aforementioned facts above. The President of the company plays golf often and it's a dog and pony show every time he or one of the associates comes out to play. The President could care less about you, the areas that need improvement or anything other than making sure that he and his associates are being taken care of and the club is making money and catering to the members. Completely toxic culture and workplace!
