Pros
The team and North America leadership. I have never worked somewhere where I felt so genuinely supported and part of the team. There is serious effort put into building and maintaining a positive team culture. Feedback is encouraged, learnings are shared, and the work environment is refreshingly not toxic. There is a lot of trust given to employees and work/life balance is encouraged and very possible
Cons
The North America team is still finding its “commercial identity” and it sometimes is a bit of a struggle between Munich product and US efforts. It’s definitely just growing pains but having all technical and engineering ownership in Munich but pretty different customers and value propositions in the US sometimes creates challenge. Also, even with great PTO in US, it feels like members of the German team are off all the time and can be hard to establish priority for US team needs over those closer to mind in Germany. The competitive landscape in US is tough as big companies but out TMH competitors and being on the technical side of the house it can be hard to compete with those resources.
