Pros

Networking experience, lots of travel, event attendance, good coworkers as long as they stick around. CrossFit gym is easily accessible.

Cons

Long hours when traveling for events but no overtime pay. Everyone was treated poorly by senior level executives (all of whom are brothers, by the way). Lots of yelling in the office, conflicting ideas from CEO and the President lead to blowout arguments and uncomfortable meetings. Little room for change and nearly no room for growth. High turnover rate - average tenure around 6 months. Anyone who lasts longer is considered a "veteran" but burns out quickly. Very little female presence in the office due to sexual harassment and poor treatment. At one point during my tenure the most amount of women working there at one was 5 - out of nearly 30! Quickly dissolved to 4, 3, now 1. Gender equality is a minimum, as is racial equality. Little to no room to grow. Management's priorities vary depending on which brother you talk to.

Pros

PTO, Sick Leave, Travel to name a few. There is also huge room for growth and learning if you express interest in a particular field. The brothers are a pleasure to work for. They're passionate and with passion comes animosity at times but it's normal brother behavior and never spilled over onto the employees. The software development staff are very very knowledgeable and encouraged exploring new ways to accomplish a task. Some people need to lighten up a bit or accept that they may have been the issue. Expectations are high because the company is small, bit this also gives you access to a lot of opportunities you wouldn't get at a larger company. You NEED a sense of humor to work here.

Cons

Travel, while thrilling to see new places, has a tendency to get very very long during the busy eventing season. However, when you take the job you sign up to do the Travel.

Pros

You may get to travel if you express interest and prove competence

Cons

Very negative work environment, bosses have no idea how to manage, constant screaming fights (in front of clients!!!) between the owners, the managing officers rarely come in to work, there is no training whatsoever, clients dump the company without notice, no feedback is given to employees (even when requested), the performance improvement plan is NOT followed as outlined in the handbook, "core group" of coworkers is very jaded watching a constant staff turnover (6 people out of 13 in less than a year), office environment is spartan and unwelcoming, no perks are provided, management will constantly pit you against your coworkers, the company is constantly on the verge of not being in business, which provides a constant pessimistic air. The software solutions prey on the ignorant, and help desk people have been told to just lie to those who submit tickets.
