Pros

Junior staff can be nice, and the clients are great!

Cons

Don't work here. The culture borders on abuse. There is zero work-life balance, except for the head of the company who takes off whenever his kids have an event of some kind. They don't speak to people with respect and there is never "time off" because you will be called at all hours, anytime. The turnover is very high.

Pros

It was a great experience from the start to end -- lots to learn from the people working there. They're seasoned in what they do and are very easy to talk to. They won't hesitate to explain things to you if you or help you out. The atmosphere was pretty healthy and relaxed here, was grateful that there weren't any office politics to deal with here. Small, but mighty team and you can feel that they actually care about their clients and the team as a whole.

Cons

Nothing to report on that end. I'd say that because it's a smaller firm, i'm sure there will come times where there are 'all hands on deck' situations, so be prepared for that. Otherwise, healthy atmosphere with wholesome people.

Pros

My time at TASC was everything I could have asked for. I was onboarded with care, consulted often about things I'd like to work on or try during my time, and always felt genuinely comfortable asking many, many questions. The environment in the office is very conducive to learning and growing quickly. There is a culture of mentorship and no team member ever turned up their nose at grabbing coffee or putting time on the calendar to chat about a client or answer questions. I feel that I have made the most of my time at TASC because the environment was so incredibly conducive to growth. Also appreciated management's investment in professional development and frequent TASC-funded lunches and retreats, which, despite being an intern, I was never excluded from.

Cons

None really! I feel that the time is what you make it. In a perfect world, the compensation would be higher, but it's par for the course for other internships at boutique firms.
