Pros

They have a great office space

Cons

Management is a complete joke. They don't train their employees and when mistakes are inevitable made, throw their employees to the wolves. I have never in my life worked for a company who cared so little with the professional development of their employees. During my time, a lot of very qualified and talented employees left due to being unappreciated and unrecognized for their hard work. This was especially true on the Cable side. The management of this team in New York was horrendous. They displayed blatant favoritism and sexism. It was overheard that a senior manager (surprisingly a woman) only liked to hire men for certain roles, which could be clearly seen by the team she had in place. The management team was extremely manipulative and took advantage of younger employees. Working long hours and not being provided overtime pay was commonplace. It was a choice between staying late without pay to get work done, or being yelled at for not finishing your work and not managing your time properly. So most chose to stay late hours without payment. They do not promote from within enough, even though they have many talented employees who have put long hours into their jobs. Many people left due to these circumstances. Think twice before you accept a job here.

Pros

Some people are nice and helpful, but those have either left already or are halfway out the door.

Cons

The culture is far more competitive than it needs to be, and not in a way that promotes growth or healthy performance. Instead, it often feels toxic and unnecessary—especially compared to other industries that are objectively more competitive and high-pressure yet far more supportive. Management shows little concern for employees as human beings. As long as you’re glued to a screen all day, overextending yourself, and not questioning anything, you’ll likely be fine. However, for intelligent, driven, and thoughtful employees, this environment quickly becomes unsustainable. Turnover speaks for itself. What’s especially concerning is seeing reviews from over a decade ago describing the exact same cultural issues, which suggests meaningful change is unlikely anytime soon. If I were considering applying today, I would strongly reconsider. There is also a disturbing lack of boundaries. Gossip, bullying, and rude commentary about coworkers’ personal lives are common. People openly discuss matters that have nothing to do with work, and there is a culture of digging into others’ backgrounds—family, finances, and personal details. It creates an environment where trust is difficult, and you constantly feel the need to watch your back. There are individuals on teams who do not have your best interests in mind, even if it’s not immediately obvious.
