Pros

• Office right in downtown Vancouver, close to public transit • Competitive salary, amazing benefits and office perks (free food!) • Happy hour with free drinks on Thursdays! • Free Gym Access located in the building with great new equipment • Yoga Studio • Longevity in terms of career opportunities • Support from your colleagues and management when it comes to your career development • Pretty cool clients to work on! • Very technical and data driven work which gives you the opportunity to really level up your skill sets • Lots of team collaboration • There’s a focus on personal growth as well as professional growth, and health and wellbeing of the team is a priority

Cons

Working at an agency can have its cons, or pros, depending on what type of challenge you're looking for in terms of developing out your career, but I've personally never been bothered by this at Think Profits or other agencies. Things such as complex work, difficult clients, fast pace environment, lots of problem solving

Pros

-Flexible work-from-home arrangement. -Supportive and collaborative immediate team. -Valuable learning opportunities from coworkers and peers, even if not directly from leadership

Cons

-Leadership often lacks the knowledge, experience, and expertise needed to effectively guide the team. -Executive leadership appears to lack relevant professional experience or a proven track record in the industry. -Limited opportunities for professional growth or advancement. -Some assignments feel ethically questionable or unclear in terms of expectations. -Inconsistent and sometimes unfair treatment of employees. -No dedicated HR presence to support staff or address concerns. -Work environment can feel overly critical and, at times, emotionally taxing.
