Pros

Talented, cooperative, and congenial colleagues. Lots of learning opportunities. Travel opportunities to Germany. High flexibility. No mandatory return to the office post-COVID.

Cons

Promotion opportunities were nonexistent, with management unable to provide valid reasons for repeated denials. Compensation was significantly below the standard market rate. The company originally had a smaller, more personable culture, which was nearly ruined by the takeover. Middle management exhibited political behavior, often conveying inconsistent messages to different stakeholders. There was an apparent preparation for a potential sale of the company, leading to cost-cutting measures affecting lower-level employees disproportionately, while higher-level management remained unaffected.

Pros

Great colleagues who genuinely care about the work. The benefits package is solid, and the regional product portfolio is strong with real depth for the industries it serves.

Cons

C-suite turnover tends to trigger shifts in go-to-market strategy, which can create uncertainty and slow down product momentum at critical times.
