Pros

Initially when hired great clinic concept but it changed constantly.

Cons

Poor Owner/Manager, she is terribly hard to work for and with in the clinic. Ex; Self inflated self esteem, she is never wrong and will pick one employee to blame her own frustrations of patient complaints or decline in revenue. Even when you try to do your job and avoid her to avoid bullying and conflict, she will complain. If your patient case load is larger than the owner’s, or your patients are satisfied and progressing well with your treatment, the owner will get angry which I presume is jealousy. You will be pulled into the office, without notice or explanation. No matter how strong and professional you remain, as I did, whether it’s silence or explaining my treatment methods and likely reason for positive outcomes, she was cruel, angry like a bully in high school. She will degraded you as a therapist, even though I was requested more than her, she will change policies in a second no longer permitting any PT treatment methods except her own specialty, PRI. This means even standard early grad therepeutic exercise is not permitted, or my own specialties I was certified in. Lies of rumors coming from other patients and employees will be mentioned though untrue, Worse of all, she pushes the boundary of harassment. Boundaries physically do not exist in her office if you are her target for doing a good job. Too many encounters occurred which I should have just walked away and walked out from, however the clinic is run on fear. Plus you are trapped in a small office with a cruel bully trying to understand why you are in trouble le and defending yourself as a PT. She stood sirectly in my face, approx an index finger away from my face, she had cornered me against the wall, shouting about how she knows all forms of therapy, she told me I was trying to destroy and shut down the clinic, she took a small step closer, I felt my entire body tense, finally the backup manager arrived and the owner/manager stepped away. These incidents are planned. After that incident I had to wait an hour to treat patients per her. All because I was helping the company and had more patients on my schedule that week than her. It’s not worth it, save your self esteem, your passion for a better clinic. Turnover is awful of course.
