Pros

Some talented and hardworking peers who genuinely care about their work. Flexible remote policy in some teams, depending on the manager.

Cons

Micromanagement everywhere. There is constant micromanagement not only from managers but even from peers, who often try to tell you how to do your job. People are constantly being assigned roles and responsibilities they never applied for and are not properly trained for. Signing an employment contract seems to mean nothing to TigerConnect. Toxic management culture. Some managers and executives are openly disrespectful. For instance, Sheeza Hussain (Chief Growth Officer) literally said during a meeting: “I’m going to bully people into participating — I love it.” That kind of comment perfectly reflects the leadership culture here. Public humiliation and lack of professionalism. Managers often call out or criticize employees in large meetings instead of addressing issues privately. There’s no concern for professionalism or basic respect. Poor planning and improvisation. Customer products and internal initiatives are often improvised. Leadership frequently changes priorities and plans with little to no notice. There’s a severe lack of strategic direction and organization. Misleading hiring process. During my interview, I was told the company worked under Scrum methodology — that was not true. I was also told I’d be using specific tools and programming languages from my résumé, but once hired, I had to learn entirely new stacks that were never mentioned before.

Pros

Fellow employees are for the most part nice, encouraging, and driven. Unlimited PTO and good people programs and management.

Cons

You push a lot of paper; lot of corporatized acronym speak and documentation that is likely aimed at high valuation -- not specifically a TigerConnect problem, but annoying nonetheless. Heavy on AI use -- again, take it or leave it.
