Pros
Toho is a small business with a tightly-knit office staff, and management that is willing to work on improving and growing over time. During my time there, I watched many difficult transitions take place, and the atmosphere improved greatly over the course of the two and a half months I was there, due to some overhaul of management methods. The office and work environment became friendlier, more open, and more transparent over the course of that time.
Both the employees and management are willing to acknowledge that things are difficult (both within and without the scope of the actual work, mind you), and everyone is working to continuously improve.
Aside from that, my interactions with HQ were usually perfunctory and to-the-point, and almost always got the job done quite easily, despite time zone and language differences. The culture of the business is quite positive, also, with meals and conversation being wonderful focal points. Between the culture, international experience, and growth, I had a wonderful experience at Toho.
Cons
With Toho being a small business with occasionally tight schedules and a necessity for awareness by all employees on the status of all others to promote smooth internal procedure, tensions run high when communication starts to break down. Thankfully, this is being worked on.
