Pros

-Truly diverse and friendly, engaged teammates and colleagues -Very active social committee that plans thoughtful monthly events both remote and onsite -Generous/flexible hybrid model and PTO (20 days annually) structure compared to many employers in NYC -Very competitive 401k match program (2-4%) -Employees are empowered to be authentic and share ideas/feedback -Competitive salary/bonuses based on company performance year to year -Tons of opportunity for growth and career advancement -Transparent leadership/executive team

Cons

-Small office space, but the team is also small, so it works -Managing time zones can be challenging but that's the nature of the business and everyone is very considerate when scheduling calls or managing cross over time in general -Fast pace but that's the nature of the localization industry as well

Pros

Your teammates are sometimes supportive.

Cons

Zero training or shadowing other than "read all this documentation". Management cannot communicate whatsoever and hold frequent meetings to "brainstorm" which effectively accomplishes nothing and contradict themselves constantly. I hope you absolutely love filling in endless cross-checking trackers and/or fields inside and outside of arhaic software that will make you work long grueling hours where still nothing is ever right cross-functionally. Your teammates and immediate managers will not fight with or for you because they are inexperienced and frightened. OT is paid as time in lieu. You don't have sick days and they're lumped in with your vacation. Expected to tell them when you're taking breaks i.e. "I'm going to the doctor" then you have to make up that time. The healthcare and benefits coverage is below sub-par. Expected to reinvent the wheel for upper management who don't know how to run a company whatsoever.
