Cons
- Passing interviews depends on whether the interviewer likes you (subjective).
- The working environment is harsh and toxic; management lacks competence and makes decisions based on feelings.
- Strong Korean workplace culture: Korean managers require employees to greet them when they see them and again after returning from onsite work.
- Low salary, benefits only at the minimum level required by Vietnamese labor law. Overtime policy is unfair: 15 hours of OT = 1 day off. No gifts, holiday bonuses, or festival rewards, only a 13th-month salary.
- Korean managers consider onsite assignments a “reward/benefit” for employees, but expect staff to contribute far more than they receive.
- During onsite periods, overtime is not counted.
- For Vietnamese clients, the company forces employees to check issues outside working hours without counting it as overtime.
