Pros

Very friendly co-workers and good amenities.

Cons

Where to begin.. 1. You will have to work extra hours, a lot. Management in this company sucks. Deadlines are unrealistic, which result in having to stay late almost every day, and working on weekends. Working on Saturdays is very common; they plan their deadlines counting Saturdays as one more work day. This shows the lack of respect and concern that this company has for their employees. TracFone totally misses the entire concept of "Work-Life Balance". Most employees are frustrated, heavily stressed and discontent. I mean, the company makes almost $10 billion in revenue, with only ~900 employees. How is this possible???? Those ~900 employees work like slaves, every day, because the amount of work is uncanny for the few employees. 2. Only 5 PTO days for the first year. What on Earth can someone do with 5 PTO days? Again, employees DO NOT matter. 3. Since the company performs poorly on employee retention (unsatisfactory place to work at), you will spend a lot of time trying to figure out how everything works since no training is ever provided, and asking around takes a long time since a lot of people are new and are just as lost as you are.

Pros

When I first started at TF it was not the best org, very top down. Beginning around 2019 the company started shifting and focusing more on culture and servant leadership, they let go of people that were unwilling to change and brought in new IT leadership. Was it perfect, no, but the improvements were big and the company felt light and agile.

Cons

After Verizon bought TF things started to go downhill. It took about a year but first it started with reorganization layoffs to consolidate HR, Payroll etc which made sense. Then they brought in their own IT leadership and everything changed. Once again we were top down, business setting timelines, developers working harder, getting yelled at and the layoffs started happening more often. Not sure what Verizons game plan is, from the outside looking in TF/VZ look good but as someone who was been inside the beast things are going worse especially for Verizon Value
