Pros

The people at TS are the best thing about it and there is a feeling of being part of a second family. I can't remember a day going by when there wasn't a smile in the office. I was fortunate to work with a wonderful team which was always collaborative and encouraging learning from issues/mistakes rather than being admonishing or judgmental. The open-ness of my manager was also a plus, with no sense of "Us vs Them" that you can get in some companies. There were regularly games in the office, nights out, "Fun Friday" office lunches which really encouraged socialising with your office-mates and a startup atmosphere. I can only speak for my own experience in the team I was in but overall I would honestly say I really enjoyed working at TS. Deciding to move on was so hard because the positive atmosphere I was working in is so rare and that says it all.

Cons

Working outside of head-office can bring some awkward communication issues, though that can't really be helped due to time-zones. There could also be a little more round-tabling of ideas before decisions are made.

Pros

The benefits are fair and they have increased salaries over the past year to be more in line with the industry.

Cons

They have blamed all of their problems (declining revenue, unhappy employees, product issues) on the ex-CEO and are promoting massive success now that he is gone. I assure you, nothing has changed. In fact, most of the original management under the ex-CEO was promoted! They would like everyone to think one person was solely responsible for the decline of the company, however the issues run much deeper and now the people in charge are simply shifting the blame away from themselves. Management likes to make grand statements but I would advise if you are an investor or prospective employee to push them for specific details because they never share any with their employees.
