Pros

I came here with high hopes since it is down the street from my house, I left a higher paying job with a commute and willingly took this job on with less pay but closer to home.

Cons

The previous manager was amazing, my job as a route relief driver was stressful in nature but he provided great support and flexibility. He took the time to back me up as a driver. However, he left and I didn't understood why then but I do now. After him another guy took over and that is when the chaos begin. Between him and the guy above him it was like Tweedledum and Tweedledee. They would send me to San Diego to cover someone's route when they were fully staffed in San Diego- but that wasn't even the issue, I was a relief driver after all. They would stress me out on the amount of time that it took for me to drive there and back- as if I chose to go. However, the best part is that besides being a route relief driver, I also had to take care of another driver's route since he was out on leave and that route was a sales route and they would then stress me to the max to complete BOTH routes, somehow with minimum hiccups, delay, support, dolleys, etc. But was I the problem? Nope, Tweedledum and Tweedledee both got fired so I rest my case.

Thank you for your feedback. Rest assured that we are doing everything we can to ensure that we have great leaders who are able to engage and support their teams. As you noted yourself, those managers are no longer with TransCold. Management transitions are difficult. They have our full support during an extended training and adjustment period, but we do listen to employee feedback - it is ultimately one of our most important metrics. Patience is sometimes needed in these situations.
