Pros

Decent pay and some coworkers are fun to work with

Cons

Nepotism! Horribly mismanaged by leadership, management and executives. They outsourced their whole IT team, so support is horrible. Basically a frat house where, they pay more for the people that setup events, "activities" and fundraising more than their employees.

I'm sorry to hear you're having such a negative experience working here. I see you're a current employee and would love to help. Our compensation team does annual industry analyses to confirm we're paying competitive wages for key roles, and we can easily escalate IT issues to leadership if needed. (I just spoke with the person who runs our account last week and he was super helpful and motivated to improve processes-- we just need to share concerns with him directly!) Please reach out to hrteam@ntgfreight.com to brainstorm!

Pros

great industry, decent benefits, do your research

Cons

This is what you would consider a good old boy place. This was a revolving door. I must have seen 40 people be let go inside of a few months. No diversity and the leaders in place are are no afraid of treating you different and grade you much harder if you are of color or a women. No direction, there are so many other choices to work in this industry. Look at UPS, Fedex, DHL, Worldwide Express instead. Don't waste your time here. Ask them about how many people were laid off over the last three years and then ask them why. This should provide you a clear picture of what you are considering.
