      Pros

      Very, very smart people; extremely good compensation; virtually no politics or backstabbing; all the resources you need to do your job; intellectually stimulating and safe atmosphere; well-stocked kitchen.

      Cons

      Loooooong hours. There was a bit of a gap between the PMs and everyone else; compared to most hedge funds, the hierarchy was pretty stark and the structure is less "flat."

      Pros

      Decent pay, benefits and hours. Solid brand working with one of the top traders in the history of the industry. Friendly and helpful research team.

      Cons

      No feedback, no communication, little ownership of portfolio. Opinions are not listened to, no constructive changes are ever implemented, and decisions are made without checking with all stakeholders.
