Pros

Trek has real product market fit. It's solving a critical problem for health systems and that shows in how the market responds. I got to see the company grow from a lean seed stage startup into a Series A business with momentum. The team is full of high performers on both the sales and engineering side, which made the work environment sharp and motivating. Special shoutout to Jacob Fernow, he went out of his way to support my professional development and was a great teammate and friend both in and out of the office.

Cons

The product is still relatively new in the healthcare space. It takes work to convince CFOs and managed care leaders to move away from the manual processes they’ve relied on for years, but that challenge is part of what makes the role impactful. Fast-paced environment may not be ideal for someone looking for a rigid structure or hand-holding.

Pros

Incredible team culture with strong peer support and consistent performance. Most of the team regularly hits their quotas, and monthly rewards recognize top performers, which keeps motivation high. Leadership is transparent and receptive to feedback. Clear career development paths and opportunities to take on new challenges.

Cons

As a Series A startup, the company is evolving quickly, and priorities can shift fast. It’s exciting, but can be intense. The sales environment is fast-paced and driven—those who aren’t comfortable working under pressure or meeting monthly goals may find it difficult to keep up. Onboarding is extremely fast-paced, which can be overwhelming for some, but there’s a clear onboarding deck and direct support from leadership to help new hires get up and running quickly.
