Pros

Freedom. You are certainly your own boss. You have the opportunity to create classes and programs as you see fit for that particular company. Reasonable benefits, opportunity to transfer to other companies. .A good work environment. You get more respect and more money than commercial gyms.

Cons

You are on your own, they advertise a "team" but look at the numbers, 3 corporate principals overseeing 30 companies! Not much room for advancement. You might have to teach all of the fitness classes so be careful how many you set up!

Pros

You will have a lot of control over your client program and most employees seem to like their job. For a smaller company they have pretty good benefits and will try to offer perks like Starbucks gift cards or fitness clothing once or twice a year. In this industry it is nice to have a 9 to 5 job that offers a salary and vacation structure. Vacation starts at 3 weeks per year if you are lucky enough to get a full time client.

Cons

Salaries are low and capped around $40,000. Almost no opportunity for growth beyond the coordinator role and the in-house professional development is weak. They are really not a big company and it shows. You will want a good client with a budget to support your ideas because you won't get much support from Tri Fit.
