Pros
I guess that the best I would say is that it was income at a time when most employers were not hiring.
Cons
Management at the senior level ("Directors") is reflective of individuals that are long on ego but definately short of any real professional competency. They have no forward looking business strategy and don't plan well in advance to accommodate fluctuations in manufaturing capacity. Employees are forced to work over time and then told they are not needed for normal business operations. This company makes money in spite of themselves with multiple inefficiencies abundantly obvious.
