To comment on some of the other reviews here: 1. The trip to Puerto Rico never happened. I think the founders are hoping people forget about it. 2. There is no commitment to hiring based on merit within the company. More than half of the employees went to an ivy league. 3. The workload is not "a lot" - its unbearable and the work hours 9-6 MANDATORY to be in the office. You also have to update your slack if you leave the office to get lunch. Zero trust. 4. This company has no integrity - companies and candidates are misled and flat out lied to on a daily basis. Now to comment on my experience: The other review that talks about one specific person in upper management is spot on. This VP acts like she has a ton of experience managing sales reps, but only has experience as an individual contributor and "director" at a company where her father is the CEO. Even though there are other managers and team leads, everything has to go through her. You're not able to do anything without her approving it first. There is no trust or autonomy and she doesn't even try to hide it. On top of that, she's rude, abrasive and condescending to almost everyone at the company. She's incapable of delivering feedback without being downright mean, and most of the time she doesn't give you guidance. It's just, "nope - that's wrong do it again." Working under her feels like working for a tyrant rather than a mentor. More importantly, she doesn't show any appreciation for the hard work her team puts in. She has also tried to fire 2 separate employees after they had been at the company for less than 6 weeks. One was only after 5 days, so beware. Job security is not a thing at this company. It's IMPOSSIBLE to file a complaint against someone because there is only a 3rd party HR function that the CEO ultimately controls. Please - if you're considering working here, look beyond the base salary and well known founders. Triplebyte has had 6+ people QUIT since January 2019. For a company that small, the turnover is unbelievable. It is such a shame because the product is amazing, but as more time passes by the more and more I'm convinced Triplebyte is a sinking ship.
