      Pros

      Incredibly simple to get hired and start work as a substitute teacher. The charter schools in the area are mostly great. TROOP gives tons of resources to help with the job.

      Cons

      You are not supervised, yet you are liable for the lives of people's children. You must be prepared and confident, as well as attentive. Also.... no bathroom breaks for teachers.

      I enjoy selecting my own positions on the dashboard. Great schools!

      Cons

      Honestly, they have treated me very well, even when I was the one who fell short. No complaints and happy to have been given an opportunity.

      - Create your own schedule - Paid more than CCSD

      Cons

      - No benefits - Behavioral issues with students - Teachers sometimes leave ambiguous lesson plans as if you know the school layout, procedures, their students, and their classroom - If you pick up a non-licensed sub position your daily pay is lower which doesn't make sense because if you are a fully licensed sub why should your daily rate change because your covering this NL position
