Pros
Decent medical benefits, dental isn't great, offers vision, 401k with matching up to a cap, no weekends, almost no required overtime, holidays paid off, semi flexible schedule.
Cons
The list is long though the more pressing ones are the company does not value their employees. They say that they do but actions say that they don't. They are all about saving a buck while actually causing more money to be spent. They will keep around employees that are non productive including management while letting good hard working employees walk because they are tired of the treatment. The don't bother to take employee referrals for hiring although they will send an automated message asking if you endorse the person, then just ignore anything you say. Some management is nothing more than a seat filler. They have their favorites and it is well known because they can do anything they want, including jet off on vacations taking their laptop with them and then "cant work" doing what they are required to do and it is passed on to someone else while they continue getting paid for being on vacation. If you are friends with the manager or supervisors then its fine. Most phone teams are full of 90% that don't follow the rules, cause more complaints than they solve, give inaccurate or blatantly lie to the guarantors and 10% of workers that have to pick up the pieces and try to resolve the issues when they callback three, four, five times because they had other reps that just don't care and are simply there to collect a paycheck and nothing more. It does no good to go to HR or higher management because you will be labeled the problem while you continue to do your job with almost none of the tools to do so. They want quality but push quantity and have nothing but empty threats for those that constantly call out, give wrong information, get client or patient complaints etc. They won't terminate the bad ones and there is zero compensation for the good ones. No bonus, no pay raise, monthly evaluation on bogus metrics with zero explanation for how it is graded or how to improve.
