Pros

Some talented individuals on the team and occasional flexibility with scheduling. The work itself can be interesting at times.

Cons

The company operates heavily on an “in-crowd” culture where favoritism is obvious and advancement is often based on relationships rather than performance. If you’re not part of that inner circle, you’ll quickly feel sidelined and undervalued. Work-life balance is essentially nonexistent. Long hours are expected, but overtime is neither acknowledged nor compensated. There’s an unspoken pressure to constantly be available, and burnout is extremely common. Leadership is one of the biggest issues. There is a clear lack of structure, direction, and accountability from the top down. Decisions feel reactive rather than strategic, and there’s little to no ownership when things go wrong. Instead, blame tends to roll downhill. The CEO’s leadership style creates a difficult environment—feedback is not welcomed, and there’s a noticeable ego-driven approach to decision-making. This trickles down into a broader culture where employees feel hesitant to speak up. There are also concerning practices around how client work is tracked and billed. Expectations around hours can feel misaligned with actual work performed, and there is a lack of clarity and consistency in ensuring billing accurately reflects time and deliverables. This can put employees in uncomfortable positions and raises concerns around transparency and accountability with clients. Overall, the culture is driven by fear—fear of failure, fear of speaking up, and fear of being singled out. This leads to high turnover and low morale across teams.

Hi, this is Jessica. I’m the CEO referenced and I want to respond directly. Over the past year, we’ve made deliberate changes to strengthen clarity, accountability, and consistency in how we operate, from expectations and workload management to how we communicate and lead. We’ve also made difficult decisions where there was misalignment, because building a high-performing, healthy team requires it. We are committed to a culture where performance, integrity, and respect drive opportunity, where feedback is expected, and where our client work is delivered and billed with full transparency. We know we’re not perfect, and we continue to evolve with that standard in mind. For anyone considering joining us, I encourage you to speak with current team members to understand their experience. And if you have direct feedback, I’m open to hearing it.

Pros

One of the biggest strengths of the company is the people. Leadership is supportive and accessible, collaboration is encouraged across teams, there are constant opportunities to learn and develop new skills, and coworkers truly want to see each other grow and succeed.

Cons

This is a fast-paced company that is ever evolving to suit the needs of their clients. Priorities can shift quickly, which requires adaptability.

Pros

I’ve been at TruePoint for more than 10 years, which probably says the most important thing. The people are skilled experts who care about what they do + who they do it with, and the work is meaningful. It’s a hybrid, woman-owned agency with 35+ employees serving clients from small businesses to global brands. Endless opportunities for learning and development, building new skills, and collaborating across teams. The progress + growth I've seen from this team and leadership in my tenure is energizing. The agency pace is fast, so this is the place for you if you never want to be bored or stagnant. However, the expectations are really reasonable regarding work hours, especially compared to other agencies. We typically work 40 hours per week, sometimes exceeding that by a few hours in a busy season. If you do exceed 40 hrs, there is a comp time policy to help employees balance, and one of the departments actually has an additional shift pay policy in place where they can voluntarily pick up extra work for additional pay. You also earn a 30-day paid sabbatical every 5 years, which is pretty rare. Plus, there is a 2x yearly profit-sharing bonus plan, an incredible perk. Leadership requests feedback consistently and implements change to meaningfully elevate the employee experience. Some of the other reviews I'm seeing are super confusing and have not been my experience at all.

Cons

Like many growing agencies, some processes are still being refined. It’s a good fit for someone who is adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable helping build structure, not just working within it.
