Thank you for the review. 93% of our employees work completely remotely or hybrid and we will remain this way as it enables TuGo employees to be productive and have a healthy work-life balance. We are working with leaders to ensure they trust their team members and do not micro-manage. We also work with employees and their leaders to create win-win opportunities for employees to advance in their careers and add value to TuGo as they gain expertise and knowledge. We work hard to ensure employees are recognized and valued for their contribution. We are very focused on the customer experience and we strive to ensure each of our external and internal customers are treated with respect and have their needs met as effectively and efficiently as possible. We have a number of cross-functional working groups focused on continuing to improve our customer experience through AI, process improvement, and collaboration. Please bring any suggestions for improvement or issues to me (Iain) or Jodie.

Pros

- For every 10 toxic employee, there might be 1 person who is lovely and great to work with. - Benefits are OK--fairly standard extended health. - Complimentary travel insurance.

Cons

This is the most toxic, disingenuous work environment I've ever worked in. The level of micromanagement is beyond imaginable. There is no trust between employees and management, and what's worse is that the leadership team also has a hard time collaborating with each other which leads to silo'd decisions that negatively affect other teams. The company makes poor decisions one after another and in the end, it's a family owned business pretending like it's a top employer. However, when you look closely it's an absolute joke. TuGo prides themselves as 'closely knit' and 'family oriented' and it's true. Unfortunately on the flip side, they take it to the extreme and when you look at it from business growth, diversity and innovation perspective it's a huge red flag. The business outlook is very grim, and leaders are focused on 'doing more with less'. Diversity committee is literally a group of 8 white people using 'diversity' when it benefits their decision making. There is no innovation because the entire organization is highly resistant to new ideas and will sabotage others in order to maintain status quo.

Wow. I am very disappointed to read a review like this. Clearly we have let you down. I am not sure if you are still an employee at TuGo (we only have had 1 employee resign in 2024). We do ask for feedback in our annual anonymous employee climate survey as well as pulse surveys and we encourage people to please share suggestions for improvement with their manager or Human Resources. Our 2024 climate survey had very high ratings across the board and the rating for 'I would recommend TuGo as a great place to work.' was the highest it has every been at 4.53/5.00. We are working with leaders to ensure they trust and delegate work effectively and we don't micromanage. We also have many cross-functional teams which enhance our relationships with each other and these teams make decisions that move us forward as a company in areas including AI, process improvement, opportunity prioritization, and application integration. We have a lot going on and the vast majority of our employees are very happy to work at TuGo. If you are still with TuGo, I encourage you to reach out to me (Iain). I would welcome the opportunity to make TuGo a better work experience for you.
