Good pay, but hours are limited with poor management - Instructor Tulsa Tech Employee Review

Tulsa Tech is such a wonderful place to work at. You get some much time off that when you’re at work you really enjoy being there. The environment is focused on the students and helping them make their own path into the community and so they are ready for a career when they finish at Tulsa Tech. Your work feels very purposeful you get to see your impact by the end of the school year by how professional each student becomes.

Plenty of vacation time on top of getting two weeks for christmas one week for Thanksgiving and one week for spring break along with any snow days fully paid. The people here are very relaxed and don't micromanage at all. You manage everything on your own.

Most of the people are 40 years or older which makes it difficult for younger employees to create a connection with co workers. Specifically as a IT role it makes the job harder because a lot of older people are not familiar with technology at all. Also getting a promotion or negotiating salary is next to impossible because its managed by the state, The only way to get promoted is if someone else quits.
