Pros
- Good team culture. An emphasis on collaborative-driven culture to push towards our end goals. - Working alongside smart, friendly, helpful people. Not every day is perfect, but being around people that you like and respect working towards the same goal always helps. - Flexibility: There is work/life flexibility allowed as long as you stay on top of your responsibilities. - Autonomy: I feel like leadership is amenable to giving autonomy to those that effectively argue their position. It's not the wild, wild west where engineers can just do whatever they want without telling anyone, but there's enough freedom to try out new, potentially better techniques.
Cons
In the past, the company veered on the side of being too conservative in terms of experimentation. However, the company has adapted and has made strides along the way and is in a much better place on this front.
