Pros

The pay and benefits are pretty good.

Cons

UCOR's Rising Senior Leader program is the only way to get promoted. They arbitrarily select young, inexperienced people to be "leaders". They put them through a series of discussions for a year, and then they're magically "leaders". Experienced people who have earned leadership roles are never considered for advancement. Once they're appointed, it doesn't matter how bad they do, how much work they do, or if they are capable - the company is determined to make them a leader. After several years of choosing "leaders" this way the company is failing on all fronts.

Pros

Good pay....used to be a good company

Cons

It used to be a good company to work for but upper level and department management have created a toxic environment for the workers. There is no consistency and favoritism runs rampant. When concerns are raised for time fraud and issues, they are ignored, swept under the rug, and the person who raised the concerns is treated poorly or gotten rid of. UCOR has good policies for raising concerns but they are not followed when concerns are actually raised. Managers are brought to employee concerns over and over and nothing is done.
