      Beware of fake reviews - Anonymous employee UNiDAYS Employee Review

      Pros

      They've obviously employed a dedicated recruitment team who are willing to write fake reviews in favour of the company. In recent positive reviews, advice to management comments have read: "Keep doing what you're doing!" "Keep doing what you're doing, i've never felt so inspired by management in allowing myself to develop! :-)" "You've clearly built something great- keep employing great people and motivating them to do their best!" "Keep striving for world domination! ;-)" "As the company grows, keep the cool." As you can plainly see, writing style and syntax is the same in each.

      Cons

      Where to start... So much potential but complete lack of direction and leadership from the senior management team. Everyone is severely underpaid - SMT try and keep salaries to a minimum.

      Pros

      UNiDAYS is a company filled with enthusiastic and fun people. When we were in-office, I was always excited to come into work each day and spend time with my coworkers. Many of those coworkers are now friends, even after leaving the company.

      Cons

      For the NY office, the fact that almost all of the other employees are were in the UK sometimes made communication challenging. Everyone does try and do their best, though.

I’m really glad to hear that you enjoyed your time working here and made friendships that will continue past your employment. Communication is more important than ever now that we’re working remotely, so I appreciate your point around communication across different offices. We have already taken feedback on board and recently adopted Q&A sessions between the US team and the Leadership team to provide updates on our strategic goals as well as answer any local market questions. We’ve also introduced the UNiDAYS Mindful Charter, which has guidance around being conscious of time zones and methods of communication.       Cons

      It is unbelievably difficult place to work if you want to do truly great creative work. The budget is very small and schedule for the projects tend to be irrational. Getting warnings for working overtime or being asked to lower standards is unbearable. Working with the office in a different time zone is a real pain and the difference in work ethic is pretty irritating. Also not a huge fan of the company culture making rules for everything and interrogate workers without accurately assessing the issues. They create process for the sake of process making it very hard to get the work done. They serve as a nest for territorial and uncooperative people too.
