Pros

- You get a nice desk if you're there long enough. - The trauma bonds you'll form with coworkers can be rewarding. - Good health plan and 401k match after one year.

Cons

- If the CEO thinks he can do your job, he will involve himself intimately in the process, micromanaging and even introducing errors. - If you're a C-level exec, be advised that you're not likely to last long, and it will be stressful the entire time. I saw three CMOs and two COOs come and go in two years. - I was remote, so I didn't have to deal with the CEO's temper directly. I did have to watch people dressed down in meetings almost daily. - You will be expected to both work through meetings and be paying attention. - The CEO may ask you to lie about data in marketing materials. - The career PTSD from working here takes time to get through with a good therapist. - PTO and sick time are one bucket. - People are so stressed by the CEO that it's a constant blame game when anything goes wrong. - The CEO may ask you to do a project before you actually start in your role. This should have been a red flag for me. - Upon sharing differing opinions, you'll be reminded that the CEO signs your check. - Your internal chats will be monitored. - You will come to regret leaving your last job and start questioning all of the life decisions that led you to dedicate yourself to a totalitarian ergonomic office furniture company.

Pros

There is a lot of opportunity for growth here. The pay, benefits, and bonus structure are excellent, and the team environment is one of the biggest strengths. My coworkers are awesome! Management has continued to improve during my time here and genuinely encourages professional development. They support employees who take initiative and want to expand their skills. If you are proactive, take ownership of your role, and actively pursue growth opportunities, advancement is very possible. I’ve seen multiple teammates successfully transfer or earn promotions into other departments because of their drive to improve beyond customer service.

Cons

Full time in office, I wish we had a day or two work from home option. Also, the office kitchen is always stocked with snacks and food, which is both a perk and a con. I gained weight because of all the snacks and food in the kitchen

Pros

supportive/ invested leadership and team, opportunity for fast growth, challenging and engaging work, resources for success, great group of people

Cons

It’s a fast-paced environment where things move quickly, so it can take some adjustment if you’re not used to juggling multiple tasks
