Pros
Relaxed environment Awesome discount that can be extended to include family members The visual aspect is more of a creative collaboration between all associates. If you are pursuing merchandising, this is a great way to start. Company promotes heavily from within. Most of my bosses started out as part time associates.
Cons
I work in a small store so the payroll is lower than most (right now we have 24 hours to give out per day). If you are not full time it will be difficult to get actual shifts, you will be mostly given on-calls, especially if you are a new hire just starting out.
