Pros

Former cowrokers were great. They have all quit now.

Cons

Management does not care about you personally. You either work 12hrs a day or you are looked down upon as not being committed. Changes every other day. It’s impossible to keep up with changes on a daily. Accounting handles 10 stores and all stores are unhappy with how accounting handles the paperwork and check remittance after the sale. But the controller takes a few week vacations a year with her family while everyone else takes the heat. She comes back to point fingers and fire people. Equity checks not cut. Contracts posted incorrectly. Vendors not being paid. Employees given paycuts and expected to work more to earn same compensation. Managers receiving paychecks of 6 dollars is a joke.

Pros

Hard working people who are trying their best to acclimate to all the changes.

Cons

Upper management has a general concept of what to do, but lacks specifics on how to accomplish the tasks. Their mantra is "work harder". If you have to work 12-15 hours a day (weekends included), then this is what is expected. They don't necessarily know how to work smarter--just harder. They don't take advantage of current technologies or efficient procedures--they just want you to work harder. In the long run, this is a recipe for burn out.
