US HealthConnect continues to be a standout place to work. After being here for several years, I can confidently say the company’s commitment to its core values is genuinely embedded in the culture and reflected in the day-to-day experience of employees.
One of the things that stands out most is the leadership team. Our new CEO, Dik Barsamian, has continued to foster a culture of transparency, accessibility, and communication since stepping into the role this year. Leadership consistently makes an effort to keep employees informed and aligned, and there are meaningful opportunities for feedback through company surveys, manager check-ins, and open conversations. I appreciate the quarterly company meetings will all employees have the opportunity to share quarterly success stories and call out their teammates.
The people at USH are exceptional: smart, supportive, collaborative, and driven. There’s a strong sense of teamwork across departments, and even during challenging moments, you always feel like you have people willing to step in, help, and mentor. The energy in the office is positive, motivating, and genuinely enjoyable.
The company also makes a meaningful effort to bring teams together both professionally and socially, which helps maintain strong relationships and connections across the organization. We work hard, but we also have fun doing it.
Work-life balance is respected and encouraged. The hybrid environment provides flexibility, and initiatives like summer hours demonstrate that leadership understands the importance of balance and employee well-being. Who doesn’t love the option to start their weekend early on a Friday!
Career growth is another area where USH excels. Employees are encouraged to pursue opportunities they’re passionate about, whether within their own department or across different subsidiaries. Internal promotions are celebrated often, and quarterly check-ins with managers create valuable space to discuss goals, development, and future growth.
