Pros

This is is legit sales job; not a scam. Actually a bit confused that people would call this company a "scam." They don't try to switch you from your current utility provider. Suggesting they do is ridiculous because your location is what marries you to your provider. What they do is save you money on the supply portion of your bill by switching you from the Standard Service Offer (which overcharges you) to a local supplier (varies depending on the office). I work for Power Marketing Promotions in Baltimore. I don't know how other USAP offices are run, but here, our BIGGEST focus is on growth and advancement. Our CEO is trying to promote people to management every single week, and then you can start making double. It's the most positive work environment I've ever been a part of.

Cons

You DO have to work to get that paycheck. There IS a base pay, but commision is the way to make big money.
