Pros

- Benefits, 401(k) with some employer matching - Some happy hours with complimentary drinks/snacks - Bagels and donuts at least once a week - Catered lunch every so often

Cons

- Complete lack of concrete, useful, and effective training - Favoritism is blatant and undeserved - Unprofessional and sometimes uncomfortable workplace (sexual innuendos/jokes, misogyny, heavy drug and alcohol references in everyday conversation, managers and CEOs screaming profanities at random times) - Work/life balance is a joke. Don't even think about taking a day off unless you want to play catch up for days following - Managers (Directors) are either clueless regarding any problems you may encounter, or couldn't care less about you and won't help you anyway. You will not receive any guidance or helpful feedback, I guarantee. This is very much a 'sink or swim' company and you must have the strongest willpower ever if you can stay motivated and positive in this place - Workload was either so intense you faced a mental breakdown everyday or so incredibly slow that you're bored to tears. My manager was useless when it came to delegating campaigns/work so some people would be overloaded for weeks while others surfed the internet - ridiculous! - There is no company culture what.so.ever. Don't expect to make friends here or to want to spend any time past your compulsory 8 hours. - Pay is not on par with industry standard while other departments, you will learn, are vastly overpaid. Do a simple Google or, hey, Glassdoor salary search for a position, then take about $15-20k less than that and that's what you'll most likely make - Such a high turnover rate that no one can get comfortable or advance. Everyone is constantly playing catch-up because hoards of people leave in waves - take this as a sign to stay far, far away!

Pros

Hybrid work schedule plus a few in-office perks

Cons

There are many issues, but the most significant are: • Frequent dishonesty and intentional deception, often justified as “strategy” • A clear imbalance in workload and accountability across employee levels Mid-level employees are consistently overworked and burned out, while upper management benefits from the results. Meanwhile, junior-level employees have minimal real responsibilities and spend a disproportionate amount of time on non-work activities, contributing little to actual output. • Unclear strategic direction and inconsistent guidance from upper management. • Absence of clear processes and leadership direction These conditions often lead to burnout for some employees, while others are given a free pass and are even rewarded despite a lack of accountability. If you are a responsible professional who values growth, recognition for hard work, and your mental and physical well-being, I would encourage you to look beyond the company’s in-office perks when evaluating this role.
