Pros
USWired gave me a chance during the Great Recession when no one else would and believed in me. I've learned so much during my time there, and the knowledge and experience that I gained have catapulted my career in IT. It was a privilege to be in the presence of some of the smartest people in the industry. I've worked at other smaller IT service companies, and USWired far exceeds the others in terms of structure, management, and career advancement.
Cons
I have been very surprised at some of the negative reviews written about the company since joining Glassdoor, and could no longer keep my silence after seeing the latest one pop into my inbox, as I know from my former co-workers, that they were all written by the same former employee who has an ax to grind. He's obviously got some issues and needs to move on with his life. He's burned his bridge, and is now embarking on a scorched earth smear campaign.
