Pros

The staff is hard working, and for the most part very friendly. Free parking. Office has kitchen for storing food and cleaning dishes.

Cons

This company should not be as disorganized and stressful as it is. It has been around for several years, so you would think management would figure things out by now. The president is constantly stressed out, and projects that energy onto the entire staff. She does not see value in her employees, and rarely acknowledges their accomplishments or hard work. Watch out for those weekend shifts if you are hired to work in the office, especially if you are salaried. What was described as working 6 Saturday shifts during the fall season, turned into working every Sat and Sun night for 6 weeks. This probably would have gone on longer too, but instead I did the greatest thing I could do for myself, and quit. Very high turn over rate, which says a lot about a company. The truth is the job wouldn't be that bad, but having to work with the president in such close proximity is enough to drive anyone away. If you are hired as a salaried employee, the benefits are pretty pathetic. You can accrue up to 3.5 days of vacation your first year. Seriously? It would take you 2 years before you can take a week off for vacation. The president acts on emotion, rather then reason. She turned down my 2 weeks notice because she was upset I quit, that's only going to hurt the company, especially because my position was very valuable, and not easy to replace.

Pros

Everyday at UE is a little different. You quickly build strong friendships with the other office staff. The office runs at a fast pace, and demands quality work from everyone. It is a rewarding and fun place to work.

Cons

I would have liked to have more PTO but their policies are pretty par for the course of small businesses. On the other hand they are extremely flexible and I never had a vacation request denied. No really a con more of a trade-off.

Pros

It's an everyday experience with a camera, backdrop, and lighting gear. The team is great once everyone gets to know each other. Supervisors are great to work with.

Cons

There are long hours and not enough pay for the type of work. Logistics is often incorrect or missing information. You can be easily fired or replaced. Call times are not structured and are all over the place. They say they're flexible when they're really not. Not a place of work for someone who has a life outside of work.
