Pros

Flexible Schedule, training is sort of decent, office and break room look nice. There is always free cookies to eat and snacks.

Cons

Let me start off by saying this company advertises Water Technician for a base salary at 52,000 per year all over Craigslist with little if any information about the company on the add. This is all a scam to get people excited to start working for them. During the Interview process they show you what you can be making and tell you all the good stuff you want to hear, but don't tell you what it takes to make that money. First off there is no base salary at all, it is purely commission based, In order for you to get the minimum pay you have to complete 20 showings and have 3 deals each time with out that you don't get paid the minimum base they offer, so there is no real base with this company. Now let me go into the details of what it takes to make that base, you are not provided with any leads what so ever, they tell you to basically beg your friends and family for showings and hope you get referrals from them. Also they tell you to put out bottle drops door to door about 300 per week. From these bottle drops you barley get a 7% return rate meaning out of every 100 bottle drops you'll be lucky if you get 1-3 bottle drops. Then from there you have to call these people who left the bottle drops and "lie" to them telling them that you tested their water, and you found trace of a containment in it. Doing this is in hopes that the person schedules for a in home water test but a lot of them don't go along with it, and the ones who do are very skeptical and often times do not buy. If you are lucky you will be able to sell at times during the few appointments you manage to make. It's basically a sink or swim environment with 95% of people leaving. From the time I started to the time I left, people came and left fast. One of the directors said this is a place to hit well over 6 figures, that is only true for the very very few who make it which is probably 1% of the people they hire. Also you are not offered health benefits or any kind of benefits at all. The owner of the company says he cares about his employees but he really doesn't. He knows very few will make it. Finally you have to pay out of pocket to start working !

Pros

I joined Ultra Pure in January of 2015 because of what the company has to offer. It has unlimited earnings potential, flexibility, room for advancement and a very friendly and supportive work environment. The owner has consistently improved what we have to offer to our clients and makes my job as a water technician easier. I have seen great improvements, in an already strong company, within a very short time. There is also a lot of support in the office to help me succeed. HR, sales administration, and the other technicians are always there to help. I have advanced within the company in the last 9 months and I look forward to see how far I will grow in the future. I am extremely happy to have a career that I enjoy and not a job.

Cons

It is not a job but a career with unlimited income.
