Pros
There are really some great people that work here. Very smart, kind, fun to be around. And the work (at times) was exciting. We were able to push limits and do new things that felt bold and refreshing. And because of the startup nature of the company, you've got lots of opportunities to take on new challenges/responsibilities.
Cons
To keep this short, in summary, the environment/culture is stressed out, freaked out, and negative. It's not uncommon to see people crying, hear someone yelling at someone else, or to see someone quit out of the blue (without another job). The leadership is unequally balanced, and bad habits at the top are transmitted down through the rest of the company. The company is strangely homogenous and you can really only survive/thrive there if you are willing to be burned down and rebuilt as they would have you. It's rare that you see anyone over the age of 40 working there, for very long anyway. What seems so fun and exciting from the outside, is really a pervasively negative atmosphere (a culture of feedback, to be specific) where people feel like they cannot do anything right.
