Pros

Working at Unioil gave me solid experience in retail operations and administrative tasks. I learned a lot about customer service, inventory management, and coordinating with different departments, which was great for building my skill set. The company provides decent benefits, and I appreciated the structured environment — it felt supportive, especially as someone starting out in the industry. Some days, the teamwork and collaboration with my colleagues made the job enjoyable.

Cons

On the flip side, the workload could be heavy at times, and there were days when I had to work beyond standard hours, which made work-life balance a bit tricky. I noticed that promotions and career growth opportunities were limited, so advancement wasn’t always clear or guaranteed. Occasionally, management could be inconsistent, which sometimes made processes confusing or frustrating.

Pros

For Retail Fast Paced Environment Strong Industry Exposure Relationship Driven The company in general Free Meals Good tools of the trade Pros depends on the people who hired you

Cons

Pressure Heavy - if you do not have experience you will drown Benchmark Ceiling - basically no growth once u hit the benchmark ull be stuck there Work life balance is non existent-role is the passionate people Top Management changes constantly (VPs) Due to frequent leadership changes, employee performance and contributions are not always fully recognized, particularly by newly assigned management (VP) who may not have directly witnessed the team’s actual work and improvements. At times, assessments appear to be influenced more by external perceptions than by direct operational performance and internal feedback.

Pros

Work-life balance is attainable. No OT pay so almost everyone leaves at 6PM on the dot. As long as you perform, there will be no issue.

Cons

Slow career progression and development once you've been with the company for a while. The culture is also to maximize employees, so they keep of adding responsibilities if they see that you can perform.
