Great organisation to work for! - Administrative Assistant UpEffect Employee Review

I volunteered at UpEffect before starting graduate school last year as I wanted to learn more about social enterprises and their impact. UpEffect was a great place to do this, both in terms of the exposure and the work culture. I found Sheeza (UpEffect, CEO) to be very approachable and a great manager. She gave me responsibility from Day 1 in client calls, blog posts and meeting target deliverables. She also invested signficant time in bringing me up to speed with the various platforms used by the business (that I was not familiar with coming from the corporate world) and gave me great insight into the business model. I also really appreciated Sheeza's regular feedback and check-ins. It was a real pleasure to work for her and I hope to see UpEffect evolving from strength to strength.
