The only positives were a few brilliant coworkers and the ability to work remotely. However, these benefits do not outweigh the deeply ingrained issues within the company.
Cons
Working at Upkeep Technologies has been one of the most demoralizing experiences of my career. The company is plagued by a toxic management style and a severe lack of leadership training, which has created a hostile environment for employees, especially those from marginalized backgrounds. Lack of Support and Training: Folks are transferred from role to role without any follow-up training or support. Leadership neglected their responsibilities to ensure the team is set up for success, and when asked about training, coaching and development, these things were put on the IC's plate, and not the managers. Broken Culture and Low Morale: Due to these issues, most employees are actively seeking other jobs. Trust in both management and HR is non-existent.
