Could be a nice place to work if it weren’t for the politics, favouritism, lack of communication etc. - Anonymous employee Uphold Employee Review

Pros

Some really nice colleagues who adds value

Cons

HR in USA have no clue how to run Europe, they think they can treat employees as they do in the US, hire and fire. Rubbish HR support as they have no clue what they are doing, they are disorganised and are not fit for purpose. I really do not think they know what they are doing and no support towards employees, they are one sided and without listening to the full story always take managers side. The benefits are not great in comparison to market standards. Need more experienced staff members and more of a mixture of talent.

Well that is interesting, since we have fantastic offerings in our European countries for all of our employees and have gone the extra mile to ensure that everyone has opportunities, is safe, and has collaborative support.

Pros

Free Lunch Nice office Unlimited sick days and PTO

Cons

I worked in the FIU team and unfortunately had a very negative experience with the workplace culture. While the role itself had learning opportunities, the behavior of certain senior staff members was deeply disappointing. During the company Christmas party, the MRLO and other staff members openly mocked me in front of colleagues. What should have been a team-building and celebratory event turned into an uncomfortable and humiliating experience. There was a clear lack of professionalism and basic respect. A healthy workplace depends on leadership setting the tone. When senior team members engage in this kind of behavior, it creates an environment where employees feel unsupported and undervalued. It significantly impacted my morale and overall perception of the company. I would strongly encourage leadership to reflect on how workplace culture is being shaped, particularly within FIU, and ensure that all employees are treated with dignity and respect.
