Pros
I love working here for many reasons. There is little to no stress — no mandatory late night and weekend work (in 2.5 years, I've had to work late twice). Show up on time, do your work, go home — easy as that.
They truly care about us like family. We have summer outings, massage day, weekly group lunches, month end happy hour, and the best employee Christmas Party I have ever been to. I always feel like I can talk to management about anything at any time and if I have an issue, it will be resolved calmly and professionally.
At this moment, I love the dynamic of the office. We can work seemlessly together and you don't have to jump through hoops and get something approved by 8 levels of management. Everyone has a positive outlook and is ready to help out with anything. All levels are included in creative sessions and everyone feels welcome and that their opinion is valued.
I had very limited experience and they took a chance with me. I have grown by leaps and bounds. I learn something new everyday and am grateful for it all. As I learn new things, my salary has reflected that with an 132% increase in 2 years.
If you have the right attitude, work hard, have a sense of humor, and have attention to detail, I’m sure you will be a great fit here.
Cons
I wish we had sick time that wasn't part of PTO. If I have the plague, I don't want to have to choose between getting everyone sick and going on vacation. Because then everyone will be sick!
