Pros

Decent salary, clean offices, great contracts, easy enough interview, entry level positions available, room for quick advancement.

Cons

I am sorry, but when the new director of HR's first move is to hire his girlfriend and her friend, I think that is saying something. Our trainer, the same HR manager, was very condescending at times, making us feel dumb if we didn't grasp something he believed was common knowledge. He played favorites with his girlfriend often, by giving her leeway to use her phone in class even though it was expressly against policy. Even going so far as to give her a charger because her phone was dying because she used it so much. Very bad form in my opinion. There was also a zero tolerance and exclusion policy for office gossip, which I thought was great, but was obviously never enforced. The cliques in this office were as bad as high school if not worse.

Pros

Gotta admit, they have a nice office space in a great location in Scottsdale, AZ. Private parking for upper management.

Cons

When the CEO and President of a ~100 person company are driving Rolls Royce's and Bentleys, yet the average salary is slightly above minimum wage, you know right away that the company isn't doing everything "by the books". In this case, VC doesn't even know (or care) that there actually are books that they really should have read at some point. 75% of employees' jobs involve making as many solicitation calls as possible in order to gather information about people. The other 25% consists of varying levels of management, with a direct correlation between a person's. position and its distance from the CEO and one's ego (and income).
