(1) Family-Owned Company with Some Challenges in Structure: The company operates with a close-knit structure, where family relationships can sometimes influence career progression. Decisions regarding advancement may appear to be based more on personal connections than merit. Management sometimes engages in employees' personal matters, and in my experience, supervisors occasionally discussed absent team members in ways that were not always constructive.
(2) Product Development Concerns: There are areas within product development that could benefit from stronger oversight and expertise.
(3) Limited Autonomy in Work Culture: The work environment requires high availability during office hours, with limited autonomy. Employees are expected to carry a phone receiver at all times to accommodate frequent task changes from management, often leading to disruptions. Product support calls from clients and dealers can be redirected to employees without notice, adding to the interruptions.
I was hired with a certain job description and title, but my role was soon changed to another. Although individual roles may vary, this culture may be something to keep in mind.
