      Pros

      Offered decent pay and benefits. There were some really great people to work with outside of QC. Good way to get some GMP experience. Director of QC was extremely nice, but was taken advantage of by subordinates.

      Cons

      Be prepared to time travel back to high school. The lead technicians of QC are truly toxic and exhibit childlike behaviors—working there became an absolute dreadful experience. Gossip, bullying, and manipulation were tolerated by upper management. New, ready-to-learn employees were targeted. The leads of QC have probably cost the company thousands on training, just for them to intentionally push the good employees or “threats” out. It seemed as though their working knowledge of GMP assays was held to a higher standard than fostering a positive work environment. Mistakes were treated as if they were life or death situations.

      Pros

      Positive market outlook and strong leadership team that is focused on next-generation manufacturing. The c-suite, management team, and employees are motivated by the mission and impact they're making on personalized medicine.

      Cons

      Tuition reimbursement could be expanded to include coursework outside of core function.
